Requirements

Extensive experience in music copyright, publishing, or related fields
Demonstrated experience and passion for managing or mentoring junior team members
Working knowledge of collection society operations, particularly across North and Latin America
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
Familiarity with rights management systems or licensing platforms (plus)
Comfortable working with software such as Monday, Tableau, Zendesk, and other emerging tools
Ability to work effectively across time zones and diverse teams

Responsibilities

Oversee a team of 4–5 direct reports, supporting their day-to-day responsibilities and career development
Manage and execute core tasks related to copyright registration, data management, and society communication across North and Latin America
Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Copyright to identify and implement process improvements, reporting solutions, and engagement strategies with societies and partners
Liaise with internal teams including Royalties & Tracking, Writer & Publisher Relations, Finance, and Technology to troubleshoot issues and ensure operational excellence
Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to keep internal practices compliant and forward-thinking
Maintain data integrity across all systems and ensure timely follow-up on open items with societies and partners
Support preparation for industry events, AGMs, and working groups, occasionally attending on behalf of the Senior Manager
