  • Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent field) with 13+ years of industry experience in embedded systems or related domains
  • 5+ years of engineering management experience, including hiring, mentoring, and leading cross-functional technical teams
  • Proficient in C/C++ development within Linux environments, with hands-on experience interfacing with hardware I/O such as I2C, I2S, A2B, ADCs, SGMII, and Ethernet
  • Strong background working with one or more connectivity protocols and systems, including: 3GPP Cellular technologies, Bluetooth 5+ and BT SIG-compliant development, IEEE 802.11 WiFi standards, IP Networking

Responsibilities

  • Lead embedded software design and development efforts, ensuring high performance, reliability, and alignment with project goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, systems architecture, product connectivity, hardware-in-the-loop, and firmware validation teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Review and contribute to source code, maintaining high code quality standards and driving best practices across the development lifecycle
  • Mentor and manage team members, conduct performance reviews, and support the professional growth of embedded and firmware engineers
  • Define and drive the team's technical roadmap, setting clear monthly, quarterly, and annual goals aligned with organizational priorities
