Proven Leadership: Experience managing high-performing technical teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Hands-on leader who is process focused and takes ownership on issues
Experience in operations is a major plus as the role is responsible for scaling

Responsibilities

Lead with Impact: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Process Engineers and CAM programmers. Represent the CAM Generation team across the organization, sharing wins, lessons, and continuous improvement initiatives
Own Centralized CAM Generation Across All Factories: Manage and coach a team of CAM programmers by setting clear expectations, building consistent rhythms, supporting career growth, and fostering a focused environment where programmers can do their best work
Drive System Improvement: Strengthen CAM standards, rulesets, automation inputs, tooling assumptions, and internal workflows. Use feedback from prove outs and downstream issues to drive cleaner, more consistent programming practices across the network
Communicate Effectively: Coordinate closely with Customer Operations, CAM Execution, Applications, Factory Operations, and Automation. Keep communication tight, surface risks early, and ensure programming changes are rolled out cleanly across all factories
Manufacturing Automation Partnership: Incorporate new tooling, materials, workholding, and strategies in partnership with the team that develops new applications. Provide feedback and ensure these new applications are production ready
