Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains a relationship with key stakeholders, seeking to understand stakeholder needs and expectations and how and when to best engage them
  • Communicates and seeks input proactively upfront incl leveraging business understanding to provide stakeholders alternative perspectives and to build credibility and trust & speaks up and report to directly Commercial and/or Finance Management when information/data seems incorrect or when non-compliance behaviors could be a risk
  • Partner with Finance Controller to implement accounting guidelines and internal controls to ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines
  • Partner with FICM and ICM to understand and assist channel strategy implementation in NV, enhance off-contract discounts management, optimize DDI and DSO and help to ensure compliance with IC policies and reporting
  • Weekly Agenda process including stakeholder alignment and reporting to NV Asia
  • Support Month End, working with local commercial team as well as NV Asia, NV Global and HKFC as required incl key monthly/quarterly performance reporting (eg: MMR, GBR) and controls analysis and reporting & lead the Quarterly Forecasting, Annual Budget and LRFP/StratPlan processes for NV India and support the commercial teams to understand their financial objectives
  • Work with the Finance Manager NV EA & SSP when required for NV APAC consolidation and reporting
  • P&L management, analysis, insight and reporting for NV India
  • Lead Sales reporting, pricing and margin analysis incl supporting tenders, contracts and business initiatives, discount/promotion review and price adjustments as required
  • Support Commercial LTs in India in the achievement of their financial metrics incl tracking KPIs, new product launch, sales and P&L analysis
  • Ad hoc reporting request extending across NV India, EA & SSP when required
  • Identify and detail risks and opportunities across the processes being supported including clear communication to India NV Commercial LT and NV Finance Director and India Snr Finance Director
  • Review NV Balance Sheet and work with HKFC and ICM teams to support compliance across India & assists in providing modelling and inputs necessary to support stakeholders in making business decisions
  • Help to identify opportunities or process improvements and enact CI projects to implement changes that may extend to the broader NV Asia region
  • Support cross-functional and global projects as required
  • As identified in line with organizational goals & system and process development & improvement (JDE, HFM, Encompass, PowerBI)
  • Team coverage and support across the India, EA & SSP region & support education and training across the NV India and extending to team members in EA & SSP or NV Asia as required
