Requirements

  • Total 12 years and above of relevant work experience, preferably with strong experience in projects related to SAP FICO (SAP S/4HANA), finance technology-related projects and several full-cycle SAP implementation experiences
  • Minimum 5 years of consulting experience in a Big Four or similar consulting firm
  • Experience as a Solution Architect or Design Authority in ERP advisory (e.g., product selection, fit-gap analysis, value realization)
  • Proven ability to define business cases for S/4HANA transformation and perform ROI analysis
  • Strong client engagement skills, including business issue analysis, IT strategy definition, and stakeholder alignment
  • Experience in sales support, including lead generation, pipeline development, and proposal creation
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Finance modules: FI, CO, PS, IM, VIM, DRC, OCR, MDG, AFC/FCC, ICMR, CFIN
  • Strong understanding of finance business processes: Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Treasury, Tax, Shared Services
  • Proficiency in SAP reporting tools: BI/BO, BW, SAC, and Fiori dashboards
  • Experience with SAP system integration across ECC and S/4HANA environments
  • Familiarity with digital finance technologies such as data science, blockchain, BlackLine, and big data is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and process documentation

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to deliver SAP S/4HANA Finance engagements across various implementation approaches
  • Advise clients on ERP product selection, value realization strategies, and conduct fit-gap assessments to align solutions with business needs
  • Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and deliver key design decisions, business blueprints, and configuration documentation
  • Perform configuration for: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Tax (Direct/Indirect), Real Estate (RE-FX), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Project System (PS)
  • Design functional specifications based on user requirements and collaborate with technical teams for end-to-end integration
  • Prepare training materials and support end-user training to drive effective system adoption
  • Develop test plans, test strategies, test scopes, and define test cases
  • Execute testing activities including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Design and develop custom programs for data validation and extraction as part of the data migration strategy
  • Lead data migration efforts including: Data validation, extraction, and conversion using LTMC, LSMW, ETL tools, or custom solutions; Migration of master data (e.g., GL, cost/profit centers, assets, business partners) and transactional data
  • Manage project execution, client communications, and deliver within defined scope, timeline, and budget
  • Supervise analysts, consultants, and client personnel to drive successful project outcomes
  • Manage cutover activities and provide comprehensive post-go-live support to facilitate a smooth transition to the production environment
