  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred (pre-employment assessment required if not held)
  • Trade school in industrial mechanical & electrical trades a plus
  • Ability to apply logical thinking to complete tasks safely and cost-effectively
  • Ability to seek help and ask questions to achieve goals timely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of robotics and PLC logic a plus
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code, techniques, and procedures a plus
  • Ability to safely operate lift equipment for aerial work and lifting heavy objects
  • Ability to diagnose problems, find solutions, and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and drawings
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Tolerance for noise levels from quiet to extremely loud
  • Ability to wear PPE (eye, ear, foot protection) on manufacturing floor
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 10-50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Install, modify, maintain, repair, and operate production equipment, machinery, forklifts, power tools, and other equipment for function checks
  • Coordinate work activities for other maintenance staff via HIPPO LMI CMMS platform as directed by facilities manager
  • Ensure correct parts and tools are in place for technicians to complete tasks
  • Oversee scheduled tasks and maintain alignment with production processes and maintenance department goals
  • Perform building and facility plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems maintenance, repairs, improvements, and routine maintenance
  • Schedule and work with contractors as directed by facilities manager for production machinery and site requirements
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation as directed by facilities manager via CMMS platform
  • Maintain technical records via Equipment Library and Inventory matrix
  • Apply methods, best practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repair of buildings, utilities, equipment, and machinery
