Requirements

  • Be time served in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering, or have an equivalent high school / college diploma
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work shifts – Day Shift, Evening Shift, and Night Shift

Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment, tools, and machine tools are in good condition for use
  • Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action
  • Exchange data and information regarding concerns and improvements in products, processes, and procedures
  • Handle standardized manufacturing processes, guidelines for choosing the right actions
  • Coordinate and verify the work of external contractors
  • Analyze and diagnose the cause of malfunctions, failures, and repetitive manufacturing problems and recommend and implement proper corrective actions
  • Liaise with production and all functions colleagues, dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
  • Read equipment manuals and understand technical drawings such as P&ID, hydraulic schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams to quickly identify and find solutions for faults
  • Understand PLCs and ISO language programs, automation systems, and CNC
