Requirements

At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent experience
1 year of industrial maintenance education (e.g., possess an industrial maintenance diploma or be currently enrolled in technical school) preferred in lieu of experience
Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation; ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Effective communication and basic math skills required (including percentages, fractions, and measurements)
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop
Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling; frequent overhead work
Ability to work in temperatures inside the plant from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed
Must reside in the US (no sponsorship offered)

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team
Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment
Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
