Candidates need 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks, ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in heavy truck systems like suspensions & steering, general engine, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drive train, and diesel emissions, plus advanced knowledge in chassis components, refuse bodies, air and hydraulic braking, engine repair, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, and line maintenance welding.

A strong candidate has 3 years of heavy-duty truck technician experience, ability to independently inspect and repair key systems like engines, brakes, and hydraulics, and ideally holds ASE Heavy Truck Certifications, LNG/CNG experience, or a Class B CDL.
