Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of the facility
Perform facility upkeep and maintain appearance
Handle exterior building work (e.g., snow removal, rake leaves)
Gather and empty trash and trash bins
Wash windows, walls, and glass
Keep buildings secure by locking doors
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming
Clean spills and other hazards using squeegees and sponges
Clean bathrooms and stock them with soap, toilet paper, and other supplies
Report needs for building or equipment repair to the supervisor
Replace light bulbs and/or report safety hazards to the supervisor
Maintain tools, janitorial, and maintenance equipment in an organized manner
