Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of verifiable maintenance experience and/or education (can be a combination of employer(s)/education)
Basic computer knowledge/skills
Knowledge and ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical automated process control systems, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity
Mechanical skills
Welding ability using appropriate tools
Good troubleshooting skills
Dependable and responsible
Safety oriented (learning and following Core Safety mandates)
Willing to work 5-6 days a week with overtime
Willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders, and work overhead
Flexible to work in cold and/or hot temperatures
Cooperative and follows instructions carefully
Willing to lift up to 50 lbs
Willing to travel for advanced training classes

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
Perform PM (preventive maintenance) tasks on equipment daily and weekly
Perform troubleshooting activities daily
Be proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment
