Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of three years of experience as a machinist, with demonstrated proficiency in operating machine tools and interpreting technical drawings. The Machinist II will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating machine tools to perform diversified machining operations on work with close tolerance and finish specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of assignments. They will also plan operational sequences, select tooling, and maintain machines and tools, while potentially performing heat treating procedures and utilizing special test equipment. Furthermore, they will support company initiatives related to quality and regulatory compliance, and maintain positive communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
