Requirements

  • HSED Diploma or GED preferred
  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to touch frequently (physical demands)

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated extrusion lines, including loading gaskets and packaging end product for shipment
  • Visually inspect product for quality assurance
  • Measure and record pipe dimensions as required and take action according to SPC Charting
  • Control dimensions to maintain pipe specifications with direct supervision
  • Operate equipment and drive forklifts to move bundled pipe from the work area (scrap and good product)
  • Assist in production line start-up activities and changeovers
  • Maintain high safety standards both personally and in the workplace
  • Cut and band scrap as directed using hand tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, product defects, or unsafe conditions immediately
  • Work effectively as an individual and in a team environment
