Requirements
Candidates should possess basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and be able to read, comprehend, and follow simple instructions. A minimum of six months to one year of experience in color or tile manufacturing is required, along with six months of forklift driving experience, which is preferred.
Responsibilities
The Machine Operator I will comply with Westlake and Procedures, treat process water by adding flocculent and checking PH levels before discharging, inspect tile on the dry side and in the sealer area, operate a strapping machine to secure pallets of tile, perform quality checks of tile and packaging, clean equipment and the areas daily, notify supervisors of any problems identified, and perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
