Candidates must possess an M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related technical field, with at least 2 years of experience developing ML systems in a production environment. Proficiency in Python and ML libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn is required, along with experience in applied ML techniques such as supervised learning, clustering, or deep learning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a product mentality are essential, as is the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to multi-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced hybrid environment. Experience working on cross-functional teams with strong communication skills is also necessary.
The Machine Learning Scientist will craft and develop machine learning models for intelligent gameplay features, leveraging real-world data to inform in-game decision-making and adapt to player environments. This role involves partnering with product and design teams to translate gameplay ideas into ML-powered systems, collaborating with data science and engineering teams to optimize data pipelines, and conducting experimentation and A/B testing to measure product impact. The scientist will also contribute to the design of ML infrastructure, tools, and workflows that support model lifecycles in production.
