Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, and ideally have a Master's degree. Experience with machine learning, particularly in computer vision and synthetic data generation, is required, along with a strong understanding of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with data pipelines and automation tools is also beneficial.
The Machine Learning Engineer will focus on enhancing the synthetic data pipeline, automating training evaluations, and developing systems that connect data quality to model performance by identifying and advancing opportunities in the data generation pipeline, designing, testing, and validating new data-centric ML techniques, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver data-driven improvements. They will design and implement tooling to configure and control synthetic data generation at scale, design new data generation strategies, run targeted training experiments, and build internal tools to expose dataset properties and track changes.
