Requirements

  • University degree in Insurance, Law, or Business/Economics with a strong academic record
  • First relevant experience in an M&A environment (e.g., through relevant internship experience) beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills, structured approach, and razor-sharp attention to detail
  • Strong interest in M&A deals and transactional work
  • Openness and willingness to dive into new topics, particularly private equity and M&A context
  • Quick comprehension and team player mentality
  • High resilience, positive mindset, and flexibility, especially under tight M&A deadlines
  • Flair for systems and good knowledge of Excel (knowledge of Salesforce an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in Danish and English (both written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Providing critical analytical support for underwriting decisions on bespoke M&A insurance solutions (such as W&I, tax, and litigation insurance)
  • Conducting initial analysis of M&A transactions, reviewing due diligence reports, sale and purchase agreements, and preparing non-binding indications
  • Supporting senior underwriters with high-value analysis, project coordination, and client-facing documentation in parallel with fast-moving M&A transactions
  • Drafting and managing key transaction documents, including non-disclosure agreements and non-reliance letters
  • Interacting with a wide range of sophisticated stakeholders, including top-tier law firms, brokers, and internal AIG teams globally
  • Contributing to business development and market analysis to support the team's growth in the Nordics and beyond
