Requirements

  • 5+ years of firsthand knowledge as a member of the Integration Management Office in an acquisitive company
  • 5+ years of experience in an advisory or consulting role that highly involves M&A integration or cross-functional program management
  • Proven track record working effectively as a manager of cross-functional teams through the acquisition integration process
  • Strong communication skills with ability to quickly establish rapport with co-workers at all levels and act as a trusted advisor
  • High level of comfort with ambiguity, while designing structure and organization for teams to produce desired outcomes
  • Passion for crafting solutions for complex acquisition integration programs
  • Results-oriented mindset with effective problem-solving, risk mitigation, and ability to manage through transformative change

Responsibilities

  • Key member of the Acquisition Integration team contributing to the end-to-end deal process
  • Guide and influence employee experience and/or Go-To-Market workstreams to develop and ultimately deliver detailed integration plans
  • Facilitate discussions across workstreams to clarify interdependencies and “connect the dots” between teams and critical deliverables
  • Manage and support workstreams with sound problem solving and risk mitigation mindset while helping teams manage through transformative change
  • Serve as trusted advisor and key resource to integration workstreams ensuring collaboration and information sharing among the teams through transparent communication and frequent updates with a steady and reliable cadence
  • Lead integration planning meetings with strong organizational skills and ensuring clear accountability
  • Participate in due diligence to validate acquisition objectives and contribute to the operating model design and identifying the preliminary integration milestones, risks and challenges
  • Champion continuous improvement of Workday’s acquisition integration methodology
  • Collaborate with internal and acquired company teams to develop and manage integration plans that deliver to Workday’s strategic objectives
  • May participate and lend expertise as needed for other Enterprise Programs
