Requirements

  • Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Knowledge of logistics management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient logistics
  • Deep knowledge of inventory, logistics, transportation, and trade operations, best practices with both processes and technology
  • Deep understanding and adherence to IT systems development and deployment methodology standards
  • Ability to operate independently at facilities and provide leadership to project teams
  • Located in or able to work 100% on-site in Morton, IL (no relocation, hybrid, or remote)
  • Availability for up to 25% travel
  • 1st shift availability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and development of business processes and drive the creation of IT system requirements to support Transportation, Trade, and Warehouse operations
  • Document logistics capability needs and partner with cross-functional enterprise teams to ensure the development of appropriate Enterprise IT systems and requirements
  • Collaborate with multiple business partners to document business processes and systems requirements to share with IT teams to realize project objectives
  • Represent multiple process/system needs and communicate these requirements to other representatives of the logistics and supply chain
  • Manage, analyze, and maintain a large collection of data and documentation
  • Articulate business needs and ensure alignment of technical specifications
  • Track process improvements consistently across all business and IT systems deployments
  • Provide timely, accurate, and concise communication of program status information
  • Accurately report project status, risk, and mitigation plans
  • Lead the review of global operational locations, make improvement recommendations, and work closely to implement improvements
  • Provide operational global support and technical analysis for Logistical Systems
