Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Business Management
  • Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer
  • Duration: Summer 2026. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available
  • Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions if working remotely. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Support the Procurement Team by developing a supplier database
  • Support the development of Commodity Strategy of Warehousing & Transportation
  • Ensure rates and pricing are up to date on any used platform
  • Support with implementations
  • Learn Clarios Products and Culture
  • Learn Procurement principles and basic process
  • Manage the business review process and establish master schedule, establish the cadence of review, and ensure participation from key stakeholders
  • Identify suppliers per product category and the spend associated with supplier
  • Gather historical data on product category/mode of transportation
  • Prepare cost analysis, build RFQ packages and invites for carriers
  • Create Continuous Improvement data, data analysis to improve payments, and prepare for Phase 2 implementation
  • Present to Suppliers and Internal stakeholders
  • Integrate Power BI and Advanced Excel applications to support the business
