Responsibilities

Schedule, coordinate, and streamline receiving and dispatch of equipment, materials, and resources, including planning routes, dock schedules, and load sequencing
Lead and manage logistics department personnel, including shipping and receiving teams, ensuring punctuality, accuracy, and compliance
Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving processes: select carriers, arrange pick-ups/deliveries, verify shipments against purchase orders, own transport/freight agreements, monitor tracking, and handle materials per policies
Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, On-Site Crews, Business Development) and external partners (shipping companies, suppliers, warehouse staff) to forecast needs and ensure timely receiving, storage, and distribution
Identify operational issues, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities; analyze data for cost reduction, faster turnaround, and efficiency gains
Manage inventory levels to balance availability and costs; ensure proper receiving, labeling, storage, asset maintenance, and readiness for deployment
Track and maintain records for shipments to ensure audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and evaluate carrier/supplier performance
Maintain clear communication channels across shipping, receiving, and logistics operations for transparency
Serve as safety lead for material handling and receiving areas; drive safety, equipment, and process improvements
