Responsibilities

  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to assist with the implementation of efficient and competitive logistics solutions
  • Coordinate with customers, operations, and supply chain functions to define critical parameters and develop plans for process control and improvements
  • Maintain the internal logistics process engineering standards, knowledge, and tools; assuring their implementation in current and new operations
  • Evaluate logistics processes and workflows, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for process-related concerns
  • Support the Midwest Container Cross Dock by implementing and continuously improving all logistics processes to maximize efficiency and productivity
