Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics/Transport and/or Economics
  • Strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality
  • Can-do mindset with strong execution skills
  • Able to apply E2E mindset, going the extra mile when needed
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation role
  • General order management and delivery fulfillment knowledge of SAP
  • Preferred: experience working in a US-based multinational (matrix organization)
  • Preferred: background in the healthcare environment
  • Ability to work at least two days per week in the office (Heerlen, The Netherlands)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the End-to-End (E2E) delivery process of Big Capital orders, including frequent touchpoints with the Medtronic Operating Unit (OU) stakeholders to align upon sales and delivery forecast of Big Capital equipment
  • Liaise with the Medtronic Supply planning teams to monitor the incoming supply of Big Capital equipment from the manufacturing sites to our Distribution Center (DC’s)
  • Engage with other Customer Service teams when needed to guarantee a smooth delivery process of Big Capital equipment
  • Evaluate the performance of carriers involved in the delivery process of Big Capital equipment and carriers involved in the delivery process of emergency orders from our main DC’s to customers
  • Frequent report-out on the status of Big Capital orders as well as monthly performance report-out towards OU stakeholders through standardized reporting
  • Coordinate and monitor the E2E delivery process of the emergency orders from our DC’s and Forward Stock Locations (FSL’s) across EMEA
  • Have a cost awareness mindset on the management of the Big Capital and emergency deliveries
