Localization Coordinator

Position Overview

The Localization Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting Zoom’s localization efforts within the Online business team. You’ll manage end-to-end localization projects for the [Enterprise Marketing]/[Online] teams, working across time zones and departments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of global content. This role requires a highly organized communicator who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and can juggle multiple localization workstreams while maintaining attention to detail. You’ll use your strategic thinking and relationship-building skills to help drive Zoom’s global expansion and localization excellence.

About the Team

The Localization team at Zoom is made up of dedicated Localization Managers and Coordinators. They partner with teams across the business to enable high-quality translation of content for global audiences. We support a wide range of departments. Our goal is to ensure Zoom’s products, marketing, and communications resonate in every market.

This role will focus on the Online organization. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and localization experts to ensure smooth, strategic, and scalable delivery of localized content.

Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end localization projects for the [Enterprise Marketing] team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Planning and maintaining localization schedules across multiple projects while coordinating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Designing and implementing scalable, efficient localization frameworks tailored for diverse content types and product needs.
  • Analyzing pain points in existing workflows and tools, and implementing improvements that enhance scalability and efficiency.
  • Championing localization and translation best practices across teams, including engineering, product, and marketing stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with developers and key partners to ensure integration of localization into product lifecycles.
  • Maintaining project documentation and progress tracking using translation management systems like Smartling.
  • Communicating proactively with stakeholders, providing updates, and resolving blockers to keep projects on track.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Localization, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing localization projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Good knowledge of localization workflows, translation best practices, and project management methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience using translation management systems (e.g., Smartling).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic, global environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to align multiple stakeholders on localization strategies.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to streamlining processes and improving global content delivery.

Salary and Compensation

  • Salary Range: $65,400 - $158,700
  • Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, and equity value.
  • Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
  • There may be a different salary range for candidates in this and other locations due to Zoom's location-based compensation structure.
