Ability to work with prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists
Knowledge of various types of lenses and spectacle frames, including style, weight, and color
Ability to advise and assist patients (adults and children)
Understanding of club policies, procedures, and compliance
Ability to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate), GAA, and club standards
Responsibilities
Dispensing spectacles and other optical products to adults and children based on prescriptions
Advising and assisting patients with lenses and spectacle frames (style, weight, color)
Verifying order data entry and comparing Rx to original prescription for accuracy
Completing proper order filing procedures using the ABC system
Delivering sales through excellent member service in person and over the phone
Explaining exam fee procedures in detail with open, honest, and friendly communication
Carrying out job functions as assigned and supporting club policies/procedures/compliance
Acting with honesty, integrity, leading with the member in mind, and escalating concerns
Ensuring a safe, positive, inclusive environment through teamwork, collaboration, and respect
Delivering service excellence, resolving/deescalating member concerns
Maintaining GOLD club standards: fast, friendly, full, fresh, clean; grand opening look; stocked items/planograms; accurate signage; clean/organized areas
