Responsibilities
- Dispense spectacles and optical products to adults and children based on prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists
- Advise and assist patients with lenses and frames (style, weight, color)
- Verify order data entry, compare Rx to original, and ensure accuracy in the system
- Complete proper order filing procedures using the ABC system
- Provide excellent member service in person and over the phone, explaining exam fees and procedures
- Take measurements, select correct frames for Rx power, read prescriptions on lensometer
- Notify members of product readiness, advance orders in system (received, notified, dispensed), and handle money transactions
- Educate patients on product benefits and recommend products to meet sales and metric goals
- Support club policies, procedures, compliance, safety, inclusion, diversity, and GOLD club standards
- Maintain clean, organized environment, accurate signage, and planograms
