Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years of transactional experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure
  • Deep familiarity with contract negotiation, drafting, and review workflows
  • Understanding of Large Language Models and the modern AI landscape
  • Natural self-starter with strong product instincts—excited to build, iterate, and drive things forward without waiting for a playbook
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, sales teams, and external customers
  • Strong communicator with experience presenting to legal and business audiences (bonus points if you’ve led CLEs or training)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with larger in-house legal teams and private practice transactional groups to map their existing workflows and configure Spellbook so it fits naturally
  • Translate real-world transactional workflows and customer feedback into clear, actionable product features and enhancements that improve adoption and measurable value
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers to support onboarding and ongoing success, joining sales calls, demos, and RFPs as a legal expert and helping drive adoption through targeted training and tailored guidance
  • Develop scalable playbooks, configuration guides, and training materials for in-house teams and transactional practice groups, and turn these into refined product training packs, comprehensive documentation, and impactful thought-leadership content
  • Represent Spellbook in webinars, CLE sessions, and industry events, showcasing practical workflows, customer outcomes, and our product leadership
  • Support customers and internal teams with additional responsibilities and projects as needed, including troubleshooting workflow issues and refining best practices
  • Other responsibilities as required
