Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree or equivalent, along with general knowledge of AML/CTF legal frameworks and adverse news screening experience. Strong investigative and analytical skills, including the ability to formulate and articulate rationales for alert decisions, are required, as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also necessary.
The Legal & Compliance - AML Analyst will conduct sanctions and adverse new screening for prospective clients and related parties, review and document Customer Identification Requirements (CIP) and Know Your Customer requirements, ensure timely and accurate review and disposition of potential matches received from FinCEN, assist with ad-hoc global projects, and work on ad-hoc projects as needed. They will also monitor and maintain the Global AML program and contribute to risk mitigation strategies related to money laundering.
