Requirements

  • Legal assistant or legal support experience, preferably in corporate or technology law
  • Proficiency in DocuSign for document execution and workflow management
  • Intermediate skills in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
  • Experience with Carta and Concord platforms is preferred
  • Word, Adobe Acrobat and Excel capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience using AI tools for research and drafting
  • Fluent in speaking and writing English
  • Located in and authorized to work in Mexico

Responsibilities

  • Format and manage legal documents including contracts, agreements, NDAs, and corporate filings
  • Prepare standardized forms/templates with little direction
  • Coordinate document execution through DocuSign and other e-signature platforms
  • Maintain organized filing systems for digital legal documents
  • Assist with contract lifecycle management and tracking key dates and renewals
  • Utilize Google Workspace for document collaboration, calendar management, and communication
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for matter tracking and reporting
  • Support legal technology initiatives and help optimize legal process workflows
  • Manage calendars and coordinate scheduling
  • Serve as liaison between legal team and other departments
  • Support compliance initiatives and filings
  • Cap table management - e.g., option grants
  • International entity management
