Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently, while also being able to contribute to a collaborative environment
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models and learning technologies
  • Focus on Learner Centered Design (vs. content-centric)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships, facilitate workshops and present ideas effectively to diverse audiences
  • Project management skills including organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field
  • 8-10 Years working in a Talent Development, Learning Design, Learning Experience, or Instructional Design role
  • Experience designing learning interventions focused on shifting behaviors in key areas (leader development, DEI, professional development)
  • Comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership

Responsibilities

  • Develop a variety of engaging learning experiences including in-person and virtual workshops; webinars, videos, campaigns, communities, and other resources that align with organizational objectives and improve the effectiveness of leaders and employees
  • Partner with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather insights, validate content, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and learner needs
  • Collaborate with other training teams to recommend, encourage, and communicate sound design principles and strategies to create a positive learner experience
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in leadership and professional skills within the organization; collaborating with stakeholders to define learning objectives and performance outcomes
  • Design evaluation strategies and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning interventions, continuously refining content based on feedback and data analysis
  • Leverage learning technologies and authoring tools to create interactive and multimedia-rich learning solutions, ensuring accessibility and compatibility across various platforms and devices
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets, while maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Provide support for facilitators and trainers delivering content by offering resources and instructional materials
