Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with proven experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing initiatives in a production environment
  • Demonstrated track record in process improvement, conflict resolution, process design, and change management
  • Six Sigma experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate kaizen events and other lean initiatives such as 5S, one-piece flow, standardized work, and Kanban
  • Utilize knowledge of value stream mapping, project management, data collection and analysis, and development and implementation of process improvements
  • Perform workplace audits and value stream mapping
  • Provide training and coaching for project sponsors, leaders, and teammates on Lean leadership
  • Lead project teams to deliver project safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
  • Report on project progress to process owners and other appropriate leadership levels
  • Support the business in establishing “best practices.”
  • Support, comply with, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards and regulations, as well as other company policies and procedures
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
