Requirements

  • Well-rounded experience in website development

  • Ability to work on a range of projects (integration, architecture, SEO) with a strong focus on front-end problematics
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, relatable language for non-technical teammates
  • Keen eye for design and experience creating beautiful, qualitative interfaces (intuitive, efficient, elegant)
  • Comfortable with algorithms
  • Experience formally or informally serving as a tech lead/mentor/coach for a team of software engineers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Working proficiency in English (level B2 or equivalent)
  • Enthusiasm about working in the Culture of Convexity

Responsibilities

  • Shape every stage of development—from concept to deployment
  • Define the technical vision, drive architectural decisions, and ensure systems remain stable, scalable, and easy to maintain
  • Build and lead the experimentation framework to test, measure, and validate new ideas in a timely manner
  • Coach talented developers through regular feedback and performance reviews
  • Within 1 month: Discover the website, gain a global view of the codebase, become familiar with marketing teams, implement first tickets, and integrate peer review process
  • Within 3 months: Participate in first project supporting a marketing initiative from inception to delivery, support/maintain integration with one marketing tool, and start coaching other developers
  • Within 6 months: Help redefine the website roadmap with the squad, iterate on front-end development best practices (potentially creating courses), work on a second large-scale project with ownership of timeline and technical choices, and perform first performance reviews & career path assessments
  • Within 12 months: Co-decide on architectural decisions for all front-end projects, audit new tools for martech environment, conduct tech discovery meetings and define tech requirements, and identify career next steps for team members with action plans
