Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems with 4-8 years of experience
Proficiency in Java, REST API, Spring Framework, and SQL
Experience with enterprise-grade distributed applications and support
Advanced Java & Microservices: Designs and develops scalable microservices using Spring Boot
Database Design: Strong SQL skills with experience in schema design and performance tuning
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
CI/CD & Monitoring: Improves pipelines, uses monitoring tools
System Design: Contributes to component and system-level design
Security Practices: Implements secure development practices and mentors others
Full-Stack Development: Preferred experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, Typescript)
Event-Driven Architecture: Familiar with ActiveMQ and messaging patterns
Dev Assist Tools: Familiar with GitHub Copilot, Gemini for code reviews and refactoring
Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentors junior engineers, collaborates across teams
Exposure to the US healthcare Payor domain (preferred)
Availability for shift timings: 11:00am - 8:00pm

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and own scalable and resilient enterprise-grade solutions for the FHB platform
Build and continuously enhance systems using modern technology stacks and cloud-native architectures
Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including developing microservices and integrating APIs
Deploy applications on modern cloud infrastructure
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver impactful features and enhancements
Build cloud-native solutions that drive the evolution of the FHB platform
Lead feature development and contribute to architectural decisions
Mentor junior engineers and ensure technical excellence
Improve CI/CD pipelines and use monitoring tools
Implement secure development practices
