Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
3+ years of experience as a lead or mentor for a software development team
Ability to interpret and write FHIR and HL7, specifically in the context of Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE)
Strong programming skills (Python or similar) and familiarity with APIs, webhooks, integration patterns, data pipelines
Experience with GCP, including BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
Good communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and scale interoperability between Tempus and external partner systems e.g. Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Lab Information Systems (LIS), Health Information Exchange (HIE)
Lead and collaborate with Launch engineers, product managers, and clinical stakeholders
Translate business needs into solutions and clearly communicate any steps involved
Investigate and resolve complex issues in partnership connections with teams cross-functionally, both internal and external
Create and update playbooks used by Launch engineers to onboard new customers
