Requirements

8-10 years of software engineering experience in developing, designing & scaling complex systems both horizontally & vertically
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or relevant experience
In-depth knowledge, experience and expertise with developing highly scalable, distributed, multi-tenant based microservices platforms using Java and Spring Framework
Expertise in API driven platform development and integration
Minimum 7+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Framework
Expertise in any of the MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB/ES databases
Good knowledge on Agile development tools, Continuous development tools such as Jenkins, Test driven development tools
Strong problem solving, analytical skills, good communication and presentation skills
Is a self-motivated individual, able to work independently
Good to have: Knowledge of cutting edge technologies such as PaaS, NoSQL, Complex Event processing
Good to have: Skills of leading a team with experience of mentoring individuals
Good to have: Experience in developing applications for the Supply-Chain domain

Responsibilities

Interact with designers, architects and other coders to analyze the requirements and suggest/implement possible solution options
Maintain a high quality of the product by reviewing code and validating the use cases across dev and prod environments
Have a keen eye for tools and technologies that will make life easy for developers, and work on improving the tooling and automation
Understand the latest development and engineering paradigms like Scrum/Agile/TDD/BDD/DDD etc
Investigating product issues, bottlenecks and providing reliable solutions
Documenting component and program decisions of components owned using collaborative tools like Wiki
