Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years in rapid product development environment that includes engine test, either in chamber, wind tunnel or on aircraft
  • Proficiency in NX/Teamcenter for product design and engineering
  • Expertise in CANape or similar CAN environment
  • Competency with data analysis tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW)
  • Experience with test stand design, sensors/instrumentation, data acquisition and data processing practices
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop test and instrumentation requirements to validate engine performance
  • Team leadership to build the test team
  • Work with customers to develop test and integration plans
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure safe operations
  • Travel to test sites as needed
