Responsibilities

Shape product strategy by identifying, defining, and reframing complex product problems to ensure teams solve the right things
Partner with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to align design direction with business impact and customer value
Produce high-quality designs that leverage Apollo and contribute to its evolution through new components and standards
Lead discovery and research initiatives by planning, conducting, and synthesizing insights to ground product decisions in evidence
Craft compelling design narratives that build alignment with executives, clients, and cross-functional teams
Confidently present and defend design decisions, balancing user insights with business needs
Drive outcomes by anticipating risks, unblocking teams, and ensuring projects achieve measurable success beyond launch
Manage designers’ performance and growth through goal setting, feedback, and development planning, fostering a strong and accountable design culture
Facilitate critiques, workshops, and rituals that promote collaboration and raise the quality of work across the team
Influence hiring decisions and help shape the long-term vision of the design team at Xplor
Set direction, drive design quality, and elevate the impact of design across Xplor Gym
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to shape strategy and craft end-to-end experiences
Own high-impact work within Xplor Gym and guide others in raising the design bar
