Requirements

  • 7+ years in DevOps, site reliability engineering
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell, Go), automation, and cloud infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Argo Workflows, Tekton, GitHub Actions, or similar
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code, configuration management, secrets management, and security automation
  • Proven track record of designing scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with enterprise developer portals, portal integrations, or platform APIs (good to have)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana (good to have)
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures or messaging systems like Kafka, SNS/SQS (good to have)
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, data encryption (good to have)

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute DevOps and platform automation strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire senior and junior DevOps engineers; promote best practices and continuous improvement
  • Partner with engineering, security, and platform teams to architect reliable and scalable cloud environments, pipelines, and operational tooling
  • Architect and oversee enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Argo Workflows, Tekton, or similar
  • Improve build, test, and deployment automation processes, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime
  • Standardize pipelines with reusable templates, code quality checks, and automated rollback mechanisms
  • Lead design and implementation of infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools
  • Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS or on-prem) with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux)
  • Automate environment provisioning, configuration management, and secret management to support scalable platforms
  • Own and refine SDLC workflows, ensuring seamless, automated, and secure software releases
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability for CI/CD pipelines and platform health
  • Enforce security, RBAC policies, and compliance standards throughout the SDLC
  • Enforce secure development practices, role-based access, least-privilege principles, and secrets management
  • Integrate security testing, vulnerability management, and code analysis within pipelines
  • Lead cross-team collaboration on platform improvements, automation standards, and best practices
  • Document architecture decisions, operational runbooks, and pipeline configurations for transparency and onboarding
