Responsibilities

  • Help enforce adherence to compliance requirements (safety, quality, environmental) and escalate adverse events
  • Operate processes and equipment according to batch records, user manuals, design parameters, SOPs, and work instructions to meet production schedules
  • Provide on-the-floor leadership for tactical day-to-day decisions and prioritization of operations resources
  • Complete daily monitoring, testing, and cleaning duties to maintain equipment and systems per regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a cultural leader for site safety, promoting compliant operations, positive behaviors, and accountability
  • Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting and reacting to process upsets, integrating operator input and escalating as needed
  • Follow procedures for safety event reporting, spill response, issue escalation, and emergency response
  • Ensure adequate communication at shift passovers and participate in daily shift huddles to set operational goals
  • Ensure all area personnel follow cGMP practices and safe work habits
  • Support startup activities to bring manufacturing equipment into service and build site culture
