Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
5+ years relevant experience in a Mechanical Engineering role
Experience with 3D CAD systems (e.g., Siemens NX)
Familiarity with product data management systems (e.g., TeamCenter)
Experience with simulation software for Finite Element Analysis & Computational Fluid Dynamics
Ability to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and make sound design recommendations
Familiarity with mechanical component designs and applied methods
Ability to drive consistent usage of product design standards (and support updates)
May be the lead on engineering projects with some functional supervision
Fluent in English, for both oral and written communication

Responsibilities

Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modeling and data management systems
Interfacing with Field, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiency
Documenting and sharing lessons learned with cross-functional groups
Supporting Manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolution
Conducting all activities in line with non-negotiables and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance, and Cultural pillars
