Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security architects and analysts, ensuring efficient collaboration and professional development.
  • Design and implement robust security architectures that align with industry standards and business needs.
  • Develop security strategies, policies, and frameworks to protect enterprise assets, systems, and data.
  • Assess and mitigate security risks across IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Work closely with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure security is embedded into all phases of the system development lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and solutions to enhance the organization’s security posture.
  • Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other relevant security frameworks.
  • Respond to security incidents, lead investigations, and provide mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership in security design, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve security measures.

Requirements

  • Proven managerial experience, with a track record of successfully leading security teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including security architecture and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and OWASP.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies, including SSE, intrusion detection systems, endpoint security, DLP, access controls, and SSPM.
  • Expertise in identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security protocols.

Nice to Have

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP.
