Requirements

Candidates should possess proven managerial experience with a track record of successfully leading security teams, along with 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity encompassing security architecture and risk management. They must have a strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and OWASP, and hands-on experience with security technologies including SSE, intrusion detection systems, endpoint security, DLP, access controls, and SSPM. Expertise in identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security protocols is also required.

Responsibilities

The Lead Information Security Architect will lead, mentor, and manage a team of security architects and analysts, ensuring efficient collaboration and professional development. They will design and implement robust security architectures aligned with industry standards and business needs, develop security strategies, policies, and frameworks to protect enterprise assets, systems, and data, and assess and mitigate security risks across IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. This role involves working closely with IT, engineering, and business teams to embed security into the system development lifecycle, evaluating and recommending security tools, conducting security assessments, and leading incident response efforts. Furthermore, the Architect will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks, and provide technical leadership in security design, threat modeling, and architecture reviews while staying current with emerging threats and industry trends.
