Responsibilities

Maintain a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
Participate in all cleaning activities as assigned, such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
Keep assigned areas fully stocked with supplies like paper towels and toilet paper
Maintain stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
Maintain good customer relations by demonstrating rapport and cooperative relationships with employees, departments, coworkers, and staff
Manage workload and delegate tasks as needed to other staff members
Maintain competency and serve as a resource to staff members when leadership is not available
Promote Avera’s values of compassion, hospitality, and stewardship
