  • Advanced computer skills and the ability to learn the application of computer systems (Distributed Control Systems and PLCs)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including computer code/software

Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline automation technical support to manufacturing operations for process control system software, platforms and/or process information systems (e.g., data historians)
  • Configure process control systems and troubleshoot computer system software and hardware
  • Assist in investigating and resolving issues related to automation and process control systems
  • Extract continuous, batch, and event data from process control systems
  • Support the design and implementation of automation related changes to manufacturing operations, as well as qualification activities
  • Perform system support activities (e.g., system backups, performance monitoring, password maintenance, etc.)
  • Perform all work in a manner consistent with Lilly policies, procedures, and standards
  • Work in a safe manner and ensure safety of others
