Knowledge of substation power system planning, engineering, maintenance, and operations
Strong background in process improvement
Understanding of NERC, ISO-NE, and NPCC standards

Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required

Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers in Asset Management to ensure Eversource's Business Strategy for the Transmission program provides highest levels of system reliability at lowest possible costs
Manage transmission substation programs and budgets
Identify process improvements with respect to development, approval, and management of transmission projects
Develop best practices and strategies for developing required design deliverables and milestones of the transmission capital programs
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with other functions to ensure high level of interaction and quality communications
Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the team
Provide input to the development and prioritization of the Transmission capital budget, ensuring highest priority needs are met
Support the initiation and funding of substation driven capital projects and programs
Participate in the development of the five-year, three-state Transmission Substation Capital Budget
Supervise the performance of the assigned team
Develop employees through performance management, coaching, and rotational assignments as appropriate
Support the development of organization plans and processes to drive overall efficiency and culture change
