Candidates must have proven experience with Node.js, Typescript, Next.js, Python, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, RabbitMQ, and Elastic Search. A strong understanding of scalable architecture, design patterns, and system security is required, along with hands-on experience in agile methodologies and trunk-based development. Solid expertise in database modeling, optimization, and performance tuning, specifically PostgreSQL, is necessary. Experience with event-driven queuing services like AWS SNS, Kafka, or similar, and familiarity with LLMs and AI Agents are also required. Experience building resilient and high-performance backend architectures, such as REST APIs and microservices, is essential. AWS Solutions Architecture, Docker, or Agile methodologies certifications are a plus, as is experience with GraphQL, NestJS, low-code platforms, DevOps practices including infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, alerting, incident management, observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus, APM tools like New Relic and Datadog, microservices architecture, event-driven design, scalability best practices, and implementing data compliance standards like GDPR and ISO 27001.
The Lead Engineer will drive the architectural vision and technical roadmap for scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure systems. They will define and enforce technology standards, design patterns, and coding best practices, and conduct comprehensive code reviews emphasizing trunk-based development and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include evaluating and integrating new technologies, proactively identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks, bugs, and risks, and working closely with product teams and stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives. The role also involves advocating agile methodologies, continuously evaluating and improving engineering practices, and troubleshooting complex technical issues to ensure system reliability.
