Requirements

  • 10+ years overall experience, including 8+ years of product management experience, owning enterprise-scale products/capabilities
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare and/or insurance
  • Experience working in an agile environment and leading decentralized teams
  • Ability to travel at least 25% per year
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Pharmacy Benefits Management or healthcare experience
  • BI or Analytics Product Management experience
  • High technology and data acumen
  • Experience product transformation, activation and operational model within complex environments across large organizations

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of the product roadmap for an enterprise Pharmacy Benefit Management reporting product
  • Partner deeply with stakeholders across the company to understand customers, current product landscape, operational needs, and business goals to develop a long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap that achieves outcomes and delivers value
  • Support and mentor team members responsible for the entire life cycle management of product lines/products, including purpose, definition, design, planning, development, prototyping and testing
  • Apply design thinking methodology to ensure customer centricity in products
  • Evaluate current state to identify opportunities through customer needs, product analysis, digital data and stakeholder conversations
  • Act as the strategic advisor, providing support, subject matter expertise and guidance to product teams and partners
  • Engage and inspire business leaders by participating in key Business Unit leadership meetings, operating reviews and investment meetings
  • Set the product strategy and find resolutions in partnership with senior business leaders, on overall level of investment and relative priority of epics and features on the roadmap
  • Connect the roadmap to specific value drivers that contribute to department P&L (e.g., opening up a new business revenue stream)
  • Create a shared understanding among business partners of the intended outcome of each product, the cost of running the product and the expected benefit of any enhancements
  • Keep a close pulse on the voice of the customer, identify insights and propose solutions to address problems and maximize latest opportunities
  • Bring a consultative perspective and recommendations to department leaders with an eye toward how the changing landscape may require them to adjust their business models
