Requirements

College or University degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, analytics, business, or a closely related discipline
Extensive experience supporting engineering, technical, or digital project teams (agile environment preferred) (typically 8+ years)
Experience with Caterpillar New Product Introduction (NPI / dNPI) processes and tools
Familiarity with project management concepts, including scheduling, planning, and reporting
Experience with software development tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
Extensive knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning
Extensive knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects
Extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions
Extensive knowledge of IT project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources
Working knowledge of IT project control and reporting; ability to monitor the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day activities of digital projects, including tracking responsibilities, schedules, and deliverables
Assist in developing contingency plans for potential risks and reporting deviations to project leadership
Coordinate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners
Monitor project milestones and prepare status reports for management, highlighting significant deviations and ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to align on project goals and requirements
Drive project success by organizing and facilitating meetings, documenting outcomes, and following up on action items
Assist in implementing change control processes and documenting impacts
Contribute to the preparation and distribution of project documentation and reports
