Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a data science related field (Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred)
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data science
Proficiency in programming and statistical tools: Python, R, SQL, SPSS, IBM CPLEX
Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies: Databricks, Azure, Spark, SAP (R4) and/or SAP (4HANA), IBM Planning Analytics
Strong expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and transformation
Experience working with business teams and within general business processes
Experience in Manufacturing Industry
Understanding of common business financial terms and metrics
Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
Familiarity with data governance

Responsibilities

Oversee strategy reviews, best practice adoption, and identify gaps in current ML processes in FP&A
Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and AI solutions to address business needs
Lead multiple Data Scientists and mentor team members on best practices
Drive strategy for AI applications and advanced analytics solutions
Evaluate and optimize data-driven products
Drive large cross-functional projects from ideation to implementation
Work with engineers and other data scientists to integrate models into production systems
Design and deploy data-driven solutions to improve business outcomes
Stay current with advancements in data science and apply them to enhance capabilities
Coordinate with service providers and external resources for ML/AI solutions
Lead involvement in the Data Science Community of Practice
Ensure data projects align with organizational objectives
Collect, cleanse, and ensure the quality and integrity of complex data sources for analytical modeling
