Responsibilities

  • Serve as the most senior superintendent on assigned projects with multiple superintendents, leading and coordinating all superintendence activities
  • Provide mentorship to construction superintendents (CS1-CS3) and facilitate training
  • Stand in for other superintendents (including Restoration, Construction, and Roofing) to cover short-term absences
  • Assume sole CS responsibility for highly complex, critical, or high-profile projects
  • Manage and maintain daily project schedules, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and client expectations
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
  • Mobilize to project sites and establish site logistics and operational setup
  • Conduct scope and schedule reviews with property management teams
  • Coordinate client-approved work schedules, site access logistics, subcontractor parking, and material storage
  • Implement daily check-in/check-out protocols with on-site property management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and minimal rework
  • Manage and direct subcontractors
  • Enforce job site regulations, including crew dress code, conduct, and safety compliance
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and corrective walkthroughs to mitigate punch-list issues
  • Coordinate pre-punch inspections
