- Solid understanding of concept art fundamentals such as design, composition, noise distribution, shape language, visual storytelling - and how these directly support and enhance gameplay needs
- A portfolio that demonstrates good eye, creative thinking, and an understanding of the needs and constraints of other production departments

Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor and act as a multiplier for a team of top-tier concept artists, distributed across several projects
- Encourage and facilitate the development of a significant knowledge base in others to guide their career development and progression
- Drive vision and collaborate with Production and Art Direction to organically coordinate the work of our concept artists
- Communicate actively with Leads, Directors, and other teams across the pipeline (Design, Modeling, VFX, Animation and other areas)
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to artists at all levels to boost collaborative team dynamics where ideas and pieces move between artists to support learning and shared ownership
- Partner with Art Management to ensure the team remains healthy and continues to grow
- Maintain an inclusive environment and thriving team culture
- Help create outstanding concept art — including characters, environments, props, among others — across a wide variety of styles and projects
