Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor and act as a multiplier for a team of top-tier concept artists, distributed across several projects
  • Encourage and facilitate the development of a significant knowledge base in others to guide their career development and progression
  • Drive vision and collaborate with Production and Art Direction to organically coordinate the work of our concept artists
  • Communicate actively with Leads, Directors, and other teams across the pipeline (Design, Modeling, VFX, Animation and other areas)
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to artists at all levels to boost collaborative team dynamics where ideas and pieces move between artists to support learning and shared ownership
  • Partner with Art Management to ensure the team remains healthy and continues to grow
  • Maintain an inclusive environment and thriving team culture
  • Help create outstanding concept art — including characters, environments, props, among others — across a wide variety of styles and projects
